Challenge

Netflix aims to enhance the television viewing experience by creating a more immersive and memorable environment. The goal was to engage viewers in a way that deepens their connection to the shows they love, beyond the screen. The challenge was to innovate a product that would seamlessly integrate with Netflix's streaming service and offer a sensory experience that complements the emotional impact of their shows.

Solution

Netflix partnered with Air Wick to create "Netflix in the Air," a product that enhances the viewing experience by pairing unique scents with specific TV shows, automatically releasing scents at key moments to match the mood and theme of the content.
